Daredevil’s TV Evolution Through Costumes
Daredevilpremiered on Netflix in 2015, starring Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock blind lawyer during the day who’s secret identity was that of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. The show’s initial season, Matt obtained a red costume sporting a horned helmet, inspired by the one that was used in the Marvel comics that inspired the show and was known from that point on as Daredevil.

Cox has reprised the role in two Marvel Cinematic Universe projects since Daredevil‘s cancelation in the year 2018. He’ll be the lead in a new series that will premiere in 2024 that will be titled Daredevil: Born Again. Cox played the role in the 2021 version of Spider-Man The Way Home as Peter Parker’s lawyer, with no reference to his superhero persona. However, in the Disney+ show She-Hulk co-starred as Daredevil wearing a yellow and red costume that pays tribute to the original costume worn by the comic’s character.
