McFarlane Toys unveils brand-new Batman/Bruce Wayne and Robin/Tim Drake figures inspired by DC’s “Knightfall” and “Robin: Reborn” story arcs.
McFarlane Toys has revealed new Tim Drake/Robin and Batman figures that are based on the “Knightfall” and “Robin: Reborn” story stories.
Posted on McFarlane Toys’ Instagram, the new figures will be part of the McFarlane Toys Winter Showcase 2023. The caption on the post about the Tim Drake/ Robin figure reads “Oh wait, a couple of things… First, take a look at Tim Drake(tm) as Robin(TM) from Robin: Reborn(tm). The figure will be available soon. …” The announcement for the Batman “Knightfall” figure also promises fans they’ll see it within the next few months.

Chuck Dixon Denny O’Neil, Alan Grant, and Doug Moench helmed “Knightfall”, a 1990s Batman story that included Bruce Wayne’s take on Bane. Bane is a new villain in Gotham City at the time had appeared in 1993’s Batman”Vengeance of Bane #1. Dixon and Graham Nolan.

Batman and Bane who are tired and burnt out engage in a major fight in Wayne Manor when Batman releases other villains from Arkham Asylum. Batman finally loses his back on Bane’s knee. This is Kelley Jones’ iconic Batman#497 cover. The moment was also adapted into live-action for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Returns, which was released in the year 2012. “Knightfall” also contains Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael. A character created by O’Neil and Joe Quesada by Peter Milligan. He first was introduced in 1992’s Batman issue #1. Batman is working with Doctor Shondra Kinsolving while recovering from injuries.
McFarlane Toys Winter Showcase Includes New SpawnFigures

On March 2nd, 2023 McFarlane Toys also debuted several new Spawnfigures as part of the McFarlane Toys Winter Showcase 2023. Figures for Monolith, Sinn, and Medieval Spawn are currently available to pre-order via McFarlane Toys’ website and are scheduled to be released in 2023. “Sir John of York, murdered by the order of his own King, was revived into the world as one of the first true Hell Knights!” The description of the Medieval Spawn figure is as follows. “Eventually taken captive by the Church and sent to destroy Spawn, he was beheaded. He now exists as another thing and is a revenant who seeks to pay for his sins.”
