New Marvel Event: Spider-Man X-Men, Avengers, and More Go to war with One Another

Spider-Man is at war against Wolverine Storm, Iron Man, Storm, and others in an upcoming Marvel saga releasing this summer, Contest of Chaos.
Marvel has released new promotional artwork designed by Bryan Hitch in Contest of Chaos. It is a new saga that will debut in 2023. This image shows several iconic Marvel heroes fighting one another in a Civil War manner. The reasons for this remain to be determined. “See the corruption of absolute disorder in CONTEST CHAOS which arrives in Summer 2023!” The publisher teased while promising more information at a future date. The Contest of Chaoscreative group has not yet been announced.
Where Can Contest of ChaosFall With Marvel’s 2023 Publishing Plans
Contest of Chaos doesn’t have an exact date of release at the time of the article’s publication. However, Marvel has already confirmed two major events that will take place in the summer of 2023. Sun of Symbiotes was unveiled at New York Comic-Con. It featured Venom as well as Carnage, Red Goblin, and many other characters. The publisher teased that a “Death of Venomverse”, which features promotional artwork by Gerardo Sandoval, will be developed in June 2023. Further details will come at a later date.
The X-Men also have a Fall of X that will take place in the summer of 2023. This event starts at the third Hellfire Gala and could end the Krakoan age. “The X-Men hoped Krakoa’s existence would be permanent. It’s time to find the truth,” the publisher said. “Fall of X,” which is named after Sins of Sinister was an event that started in January 2023. It sees Mister Sinister fall in love with a reality he manipulated and becomes trapped.
Other Marvel crossovers coming out around the time of Contest of Chaos include a Steve Rogers/Sam Wilson Captain America Cold War event that starts in the spring of 20,23, a bloody Miles Morales/Carnage fight that begins on May 3, 2023, and CarnageReigns Alpha that debuts in August. Contest of Chaos will also is launched at the same period as Jed MacKay & C.F. Villa’s new ongoing Avengers series launches. But, whether there’s any connection between the Contest of Chaos and the Avengers remains to be seen.
